Since most come with 3rd party programs that are easier to use than Vista's CD/DVD burning,
you can turn this off with a simple registry edit.

Start Regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer

Create a new DWORD key NoCDBurning

Give it a value of 1

Log off and back on again
