You need to have the following Softwares installed
1) Avg free edition or Norton Antivirus
2) Trojan remover
3) Spyware doctor ( at least 1GB RAM required )
With these softwares installed you need to update your system regularly
1) Avg everyday
2) Trojan remover weekly
3) Spyware doctor weekly
ALSO SCAN EVERY WEEK WITH THESE SOFTWARES
If you dont want to install the softwares. just install deepfreeze software and your system will be locked.
if a virus infects your system just restart it.But you will have to save your data of a separate hard disk (USB) .
